You have tried practicing more self-care but you still find yourself feeling stuck and unsettled with your emotions. You want to be present for your family but are finding it difficult to balance your emotional needs along with theirs. 

You are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and emotionally and mentally exhausted.  Maybe you are afraid that you are not a good enough parent or you don't want to repeat patterns from your own childhood.  

You have unexpressed feelings, thoughts circling around in your head, and need a safe and confidential setting to talk. Counseling can help.

As parents, we are biologically capable of responding to our children with love and kindness but sometimes our love and kindness is blocked because of unresolved issues or hurtful memories from our past.  Creating a space to heal past hurts or make sense of your own life experiences can help you regain or find balance in your personal and family life.  I offer space to help you heal.

THE THERAPY PROCESS: It is my intention to provide you with a safe, confidential and comfortable space that supports your unique needs. The first step is to contact me for a free 15-minute consultation so that we can determine if my services are a good fit for you. If we decide that I am a good fit, we will schedule an initial session to go over guidelines of therapy and my practice, including your expectations and desired goals.  Moving forward we will collaborate to find solutions to help reach your goals. We will meet weekly until your goals are met, this can be short-term or longer-term, depending on your specific needs and the information that you provide. If you feel stuck at all during this process, we will work together to try a different approach.  If there is ever a time that we agree that I am not the best person to help you, I can provide you with referrals for someone who can.
